In the 3 hours that I was fishing I managed to land 5 Murray cod, with the best average size of any Murray cod fishing session that I have had this season. Of the 5 Murray cod that I caught, 3 of them would have been over 50cm with the other two only slightly under. It really was an amazing fishing trip. As the title says, this is the type of fishing that dreams are made of. I stand by that statement as many people could only dream of having such an incredible Murray cod fishing session. It was not only incredible because of the fantastic Murray cod fishing, but the temperature, and weather conditions were perfect, the water level was perfect, the water clarity was fantastic. It really was the sort of fishing that dreams are made of. Fishing is an addiction, but it is a very healthy addiction. I am addicted to Murray cod fishing, and totally addicted to all aspects of fishing, particularly freshwater fishing in North East Victoria, Australia.
