Live Play with the Re-Spin feature and Free Spins in my First Attempt at WMS's new Tropical Fish slot. The game is played on a 5x4 reelset with 40 lines. Fish symbols can be stacked full-reel on all 5 reels for possible full-screens. Whenever a reel lands with a yellow background, a coin it tossed in the treasure chest above. If a Wild is on that reel, it turns the entire reel wild. Randomly, the Treasure Chest is unlocked and the re-spin feature is triggered. The bonus is played out like Lightning Link with it's re-spins and chance for progressives. Every symbol you land resets the spins to 3. Free Spins are triggered by at least 3 bonus symbols. At the start of the bonus, you pick bubbles to decide your combination of games and multipliers. Non-Wild symbol pays in the game are dismal. 5-of-a-kind of the top fish symbol pays only 60 credits for 5, while 5 poker symbols pay more. However, poker symbols do not come stacked. If you do get a full-screen of fish, it pays a different amount. On the other end, 5 Wilds pays $100.00 at minimum bet. The paytable is confusing, and with the line pays so low, it's hard to win anything significant unless you score a big progressive. Taken at Harrah's Resort Southern CA.
