Thanks for that. Yes it was my understanding that it does happen.. the Trigger fish though are different. they have become permanent residents according to all the reports that I have read. Hope that you enjoy your time in the water... Keep sharing. :)

I did take this video right in Hubbards cove. I have been told it looks like a juvenile Banded Rudder fish. Sometimes a piece of the warm gulf stream will break off and carry some uncommon fish into Nova Scotia with it. I have also heard of Trigger Fish being sighted in the bay.

Hi.. I do a lot of snorkeling in the Bay and had heard that trigger fish have taken up permanent residence, though I have not seen one. Was this taken right in Hubbards Cove? have you ever managed to identify the species?
