You may give it to the peacock bass if you cohabit them too quickly. Unfortunately you are now in quite a pickle! Lympho is exacerbated by stress, reduced feeding will stress your fish. You need to keep your fish as stress free as possible if you want to keep the reduced feeding.
As tarpon are a predominantly brackish fish add some marine mix also up the aeration and provide a shaded area where the tarpon can feel secure, maybe black out half the tank. Try to keep your nitrates at zero.
Remember too that deliberate stunting can deform fish, some internal organs will continue to grow no matter how little you feed your fish. Hopefully your tarpon won't suffer from Compressed Organ Syndrome.
Personally I think you've made a major mistake and you'll have a lot of probs rehoming the fish when it gets to a larger size; no-one, zoos, aquariums etc will want a lympho carrying fish in their community tank. It's just too risky.
So I would add some floating plants for the tarpon.
At the fish store i worked at, we had a school of 5 Indo tarpon in a 3000 gal tank with some big sea cats, mangrove jack, scats and a massive archer ( this was a brackish tank salinity 1.006)
As the tank was easy 12 ft in diameter ( it was round) the tarpon had no trouble thriving, we had the filter outlet forming a continuous laminar flow so the tarpon would just swim against the current until we fed them, when it became a frenzy!
For this little guy I hope the lesions heal up a little before joining his bass friend. I have never seen bass and tarpon together but I really think that it would be problem free for at least a year or so if they both feel secure, conditions are scrupulously clean/stable and both are fed a varied and nutrient rich diet.
In my experience with tarpon. They are a peaceful fish to those that can't fit in their mouth. I have a small school of indo tarpon kept with P.bass,redtail, hybrid redtail,spotted gar, and clown knifefish

Tarpon can grow up to 8-10 feet in length. A 125 gallon is like 6 feet long.

Yup! Unless this is a proven specimen of a freshwater land-locked population, it's going to eventually need brackish water and a massive tank.
Most tarpon available are aquacultured from Indonesia, they are a very fast growing brackish strain that are used for food. Average size is about 90cm (3 feet).
The purely freshwater populations get to 2 feet but are extremely rare, there are some in a remote New Guinea lake and i think there is an Australian population too (which is protected and prohibited to export)
