I love the tropical cave idea, but I'd personally make the hole in the top of the cave even bigger so the plants could get more sunlight and it would look even better imo. And if someone's like "but they could see the facility from the sky" then you could also have a cloaking device that makes it look like a normal cave

Rage for the redstone build that made the block go back and foreth on a line of blocks that was in an episode a while ago, you should try to make it be a water feature that makes the water come in a pattern but you would have to find a way to do it without the redstone being destroyed

just an example for the radar dish to make it better, you should add a sticky piston so that when you hit a lever it opens and the beacon light shines up. it would make it as if you "activated" the radar.
