Every year the weather is better for us as we are lovers of ponds hahaha and fortunately we have more and more knowledge to make almost everything well so once again I'm happy saying that the ponds are going to be great! :D

Thanks my friend! I'll look for fry for the next few months but it could be like finding a needle in a haystack, in this pond I usually find new fry of flashy and clumsy carassius only when they reach about 3 cm / 1 in.

Great question my friend, thanks! Each tropical pond season is longer. In fact I think these B. semifasciolatus could survive in the ponds all year round as my 3 years old colony of Tanichthys albonubes. I will be more cautious with the livebearers but the conditions are better each year. Fifteen years ago I had some big ciprinids caught in thick layers of ice on the surface because of some night frost.

Hahaha there are some hardy mbuna species and some sumer I'd like to keep them outdoors. They'd love to graze on the algae of a big healthy pond with stable temperatures.

Thanks! I had some fun times while I made my ponds, a lot of whole days of work on vacation. Ponds are great things to make hahaha :)
