not sure about this acoustic mix though.
This is not a fail. The ship was being grounded to be scrapped and it was maneuvered perfectly.
It's the same thing with the beaching of Türkuman B.
Both ships have taken on a life of their own as modern digital ghostships which will simply not be seen as outdated and scrapped, so they keep on haunting uploaders.

The human failed for being so close to film it.
Except the guy who filmed it was killed by flying debris!
Anyone know the name of the piece?
I see now. So, the bridge is raised and lowered remotely? Who is responsible on raising and lower the canal bridge? Remotely usually means one man operation, am I right? If I am, I will take you back to cut-cut, chop-chop jobs.
Several years ago such operations were usually manned by 6 or more men, like a a police station, to make sure there wouldn't be any mistake or incidents. These days, with companies who have a get-rich-quick attitude, less people are employed or replaced with automation, and that's when accidents happen, all thanks to the technology.
When you say wheelhouse, do you mean the ship or the room where the bridge was lowered?
If you mean the room where the canal bridge is lowered or raised, them how many people work there? One person?
To say there are 2-3 people manning the wheelhouse I think you mean the room where they raise and lower the canal bridge. To say 2-3 people in the wheelhouse, surely all weren't asleep?
How 2-3 people failed to see a ship? Were they drunk? Are there any sensors that trigger a signal to the wheelhouse of a ship approaching the bridge?
We have such overhead sensors of trucks that might have loads higher than the permitted height when going through tunnels. Are there any such sensors over there in your country?
There was only one person in the wheelhouse of the ship (or bridge of the ship) because everyone else had been evacuated from the wheelhouse because the bridge was coming down and a collision was imminent. There are usually 2-3 people manning the wheelhouse, especially in the Welland Canal, where the accident happened.
Ok, ok. The usual cut-cut, chop-chop jobs to reap profits and bonuses.
When you say 'Wheelhouse' did you mean bridge wheelhouse or the wheelman on the ship? Both comments are confusing.
If it is the wheelman on the bridge wheelhouse, then that is a problem being alone on the job as a result of cutting jobs, one man instead of 2.
What if the bridge was lowered and this one man in the wheelhouse has a heart attack and there is no one to help him or raise the alarm, and the bridge?
You see? Cut-cut, chop-chop jobs, and when something goes wrong, I mean really wrong, whose fault is it? In the capitalist pigs eyes the wheelman is at fault, even if he died of heart attack, the capitalist pigs that employed the wheelman would still blame him.
Its turkish art :)
Thanks in advance
That was a pretty big fail if you ask me!
