A marvelous design and a huge feat of engineering. It's a boat for people that use SI units, not knots.

(edit): Looks like I was right. According to the Wikipedia page, it is a motor-sailer. From the wiki:
"Sailing Yacht A is a sail-assisted motor yacht built in Kiel by Nobiskrug for Andrey Melnichenko. Her propulsion consists of a variable-speed hybrid powerplant with two lineshaft controllable-pitch propellers and is sail-assisted by a three-mast fore-and-aft sailing rig."

That also means the title of the video is wrong. It's not the "World's largest sailing yacht", the Maltese Falcon is. The "A" is a motor yacht, merely assisted by sails.

First of all, i did work on this boat while they were building it and it did take so much work and hours to get it finished.
I do like the style of the boat myself and i think its very unique compared to other yachts. Every person has different taste, therefore if the OWNER likes his design, why on earth would others put down his design?
How would you feel if someone comes up to you and puts your work down? stop being haters and actually appreciate when someone does something new.

The yacht itself i think its a beauty, pay attention to the finish of it, line, cabins, frames so on... and you will see the beauty in it.
