He when you guys are done with the Bora bora and other FP islands and get heading west you can't miss out on the English Polynesia (Cook Islands). Be sure to visit Rarotonga, Aitutaki, Palmerston, Manihiki, Suwarrow, Rakahanga and more.

This recipe.
You only need salt and salted water inhabiting fish.
Get head off and guts cleaned, get sliced mid size pieces, rub it with salt and put layers in pot for 6-12 hours. Clean in fresh water. It's ready.
Bread and onion with vinegar will make it great breakfast.
Slice of bread with butter and on the top slice of red salted fish, Swedish in your crew will confirm this.
This has to be eaten in 24 hours after ready.
There is another for dry fish:
Get whole fish cleaned from gills and guts and salt it 6-12 hours clean in fresh water and put it on line for drying for 3-7 days on breathing air. Flies are not allowed.
After it dries it's ready, you have salted dry fish, it may be good for months.

and Sydney) about 3 years ago and truly loved it. I also love how much
you both seem to be loving your journey, pretty hard not to with all of
the beautiful locations you have seen. I could go on and on but let me

Tip: Bleach makes the mould invisible; hydrogen peroxide (3%) kills it. Keep a spray bottle of HP around -- nice because it degrades into water and doesn't make your boat toxic.
