This is great for busy homeowners who find it difficult to consistently add beneficial bacteria on a weekly basis, which is one of the reasons why some ponds suffer from water quality issues even though they have adequate filtration. Love it! I'm going to install one on my own pond.

Awesome! Another thing to plug in!! One more step towards disconnecting the owner from something so tangible as a water feature & making it more invisible & 'virtual'. What happened to the good old Aquascapes I used to love? KISS?? 'Develop an Ecosystem that takes care of itself', little bacteria, occassional SAB, few water plants, don't overfeed the fish? THAT aint hard, & it's not expensive either.
