I'll be eagerly waiting to see the Jimmy Fish breeding video. I"ve tried to breed them myself but I've had problems with their very particular needs. I just don't seem to be able to find the right candles. If you do get some more jimmy fish and don't mind mailing them Id consider taking one or more for my 5 gallon planted tank.

Try using a microfiber towel to clean the inside of the acrylic. Towel has more surface area and you can put one in each hand.

Oh my gosh..I'm so sorry for spilling the beans. Looks like Funny Fish is already hounding you. What a nightmare. ....Yeah, the shipping is crazy. A full-size jimmy can drive itself, but the dwarf jimmies can't reach the pedals. ....I tried to find satin curtains, but BB&B was out. I ended up with a poly blend from Walmart, and let me tell you, those dwarf jimmies were furious! Thankfully, I was able to special order real satin online. Those should finally be in next week.

Funny Fish I'd recommend asking around your local aquarium club, to see if anyone is breeding and selling dwarf jimmies. And if that fails, I've seen several Jimmies (Jimmy legs, dwarf Jimmies [they might be smaller, but that doesn't mean they have any less of a personality!!!!!], and Jimmy waterproof watches) on Aquabid

I bought 5 oto last week in my 50G planted and 4 die in a week after they clean up the algae. I have 2 angel and 4 rainbow in my 50g. Why do they die? Stress caused by bigger fish?

I once saw a Jimmy out of water completely for several hours. Another time, I saw one going from tank to tank like an octopus. You could probably fill the tank with used motor oil, and the Jimmy would be fine.

Check for phosphates after Jimmy comes out because modern day clothing detergents use tons of Phosphates to make the white and bright. It mat cause an algal bloom.

I think the right filter media might help to clean up with their excessive waste. I use toilet paper but others have had success with a particular potty training. However, it's important to remember that this is an American fish, so their waste is a serious problem.
