Depends on what tanks do you think of :) The small ones from the Nano contest - they are either transported without water, or set up on site, in the exhibition hall. The large ones with cichlids etc - usually they are set up on site.

Uuuu, tu się mocno, ale to mocno nie zgodzę. W latach 80tych nasza akwarystyka stała o wiele wyżej niż obecnie. Mam na myśli poziom wiedzy i zaangażowania hodowców, liczbę członków Polskiego Związku Akwarystów, to jak się specjalnie zapisywali na kursy niemieckiego żeby móc czytać zachodnią literaturę - to było super. Teraz jest więcej sprzętu, bardzo łatwo dostępnego, ale prawdziwej rzetelnej wiedzy i doświadczenia jest średnio biorąc o wiele mniej (a przynajmniej tak mi się wydaje :) )

Jaka zawiść, no coś Ty :) Po prostu nie wszystkim się pewnie podoba takie bieganie z kamerą, i tyle. Niektórzy widzowie wolą filmy kręcone ze statywu :) Poza tym ten film to tylko taka szybka jazda po wszystkich stoiskach, na dobrą sprawę nie widać żadnych szczegółów, też nie wszyscy muszą to zaraz lubić :) (pomimo że wyraźnie mówię że to jest tylko wstęp :) )

Sure it can tip a grand, or even more :) The questions is - why buy all this expensive stuff, if one can get nice results without it? Sure, there will be no oxygen bubbles coming from plants - but, there will be no every-day-maintenance involved, too :)

there are shows like this in the states been going on for many years. Its called MACNA. Its the Marine aquarium convention of north america. This year its in Dallas Texas.

@GraveDigger580 In fact it's not very difficult :) Remember that there were many exhibitiors preparing the tanks - a lot of Polish fishkeepers associations. So each group of people had to arrange only their tank(s). And some tanks were already on site, provided by the sponsor. Anyway, it's done like this - 1-2 days before the opening the tanks are arranged and filled with tap water. After 24h the fish are introduced, and they stay there for the exhibition (2-3 days). Then all is dissasembled.
