If you dose daily does that mean that you are testing daily? Testing is the big hurdle for me. It takes me almost an hour to test and clean up. My tank is only a 13 gal nano. I can do a 20% water change in under 5 minutes. Some of my corals are doing great. The zoas however are all dying.

Kent products are the best, don't use Red Sea. Red Sea will wipe out your whole tank.
And Rea Sea won't care.

Great vid. I use BRS 2 part. I dose daily with tank of about 15 mixed corals. I am having trouble keeping cal. from getting too high and can't keep alk over 7. Can I dose a little more alk than cal too keep these two parameters in line? Originally I was told always dose these two in equal amts. Mag is always right on.

Salifert. 60 gal. mixed reef. 15 med. size corals 6inches to a few inches.

eric olsen fisrt what test kits do you use? you want to first make sure your test reading is accurate. but it sounds like your out of balance to me. how big of tank, and how big of corals and what kind of corals? (soft,lps, sps).

billy cc what light are you running? zoas stretching is a sure sign insufficient light. they are reaching out to get more light

Man I struggled with the zoas the last few months, none died just wouldn't open fully and closed up completely by 2-3 pm. Turned out to be my light intensity was too high for them
