@splitman yes it is. plus a species of deadly octopus, and a type of shellfish with a poisoness barb , snakes, spiders. Other dangers include crocs and wild dogs, bush pigs and even a great grey kangaroo is capable of giving severe lacerations. Also the cassowary a large flightless bird has been known to kill. That's all I can think of right now. But Oz is pretty safe compared to a lot of other countries.
