I am trying out a new betta fish retirement setup using the medium size critter keeper that is about 2.5 gallons.. realistically I think its more like 2 gallons. Some fish do better in large tanks while others do well in smaller setups so it is best to choose what works for your individual betta fish.

This is my Petco preferred 6.25 gallon tank. There is one Betta living in it. The substrate is basic aquarium sand, and the decorations are Legos that are weighted with stainless steel washers and bolts, using medical grade silicone.

This is a follow up to last week's live plant haul & unboxing! This is about 2 weeks after I planted them in Campbell's tank. Some of them are growing faster than others, which is probably due to each plant's individual needs. This Pump as you saw will work on tanks as deep as 24 inches. So 55 gallon tanks 125 , and 75 gallon standard dimension tanks are all within range of what this pump can handle. So long as what you are running is a sponge filter your fish will be fine, if your attempting to aerate to save your fish..... i would get something bigger.

I dont remember the seller's name, but I wouldn't recommend them anyway (due to the way they shipped the fish). As of 2017, he has PASSED AWAY. Shortly after this video, I moved him to a 5 gallon tank and lived good 3 years. Then he caught pine cone disease and passed away due to weakened immune system. I had filter and heater in his tank. He died because he was old. I buried him and he is now in fish heaven.
